N502: Advanced Role Development and Organizational Leadership
This course provides a comprehensive review of the role and responsibilities of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with specific emphasis on the role of the Nurse Practitioner. Historical, political, legal, social, and ethical components of the Nurse Practitioner will be addressed. In addition, scope of practice and regulatory requirements will be discussed as well as the critical role of the Nurse Practitioner as a change agent, educator, and leader.
